With Creative Director Lorraine O'Neill at its helm, LA College of Creative Arts Styling Course has built its foundation on Lorraine's unprecedented knowledge and expertise along with her theoretical and hands on experience. 

The most popular component of this Fashion Styling course is the amazing mentorship programme taught by the most relevant industry experts.  Previous guest speakers and lecturers include: Deirdre McQuillan, Fashion Editor of The Irish Times, Corina Gaffey, Fashion Editor of KISS and Stellar Magazine, Lorna Claire Weightman, Fashion Blogger and writer,  Courtney Smith, International Stylist, Daniel Holfeld, Professional Fashion Photographer, and Darren Kennedy, TV Presenter and Stylist, who have all provided an insight into their careers and have offered invaluable advice to our students. This course thoroughly prepares students for work in various areas in the field of fashion. 

Practical Teachings

Our highly recognised Fashion Styling course provides students with expert level training taught by industry professionals in the LA College of Creative Arts studios on Chatham Street. 

 

This course also include 3 weekend workshops that are held on a Saturday. During these workshops, students will be asked to supply a model to work alongside a creative team of hair, makeup and a photographer in creating 3 industry images for your digital industry portfolio.

This is an extremely practical and in-depth fashion styling course which was created with career requirements in mind and offers a realistic and honest insight into one of the world’s most exciting and vibrant industries.

On completion of Fashion Styling Course students can avail of bundle offer and upskill in Bridal and Editorial Make-Up Course for discounted rate of €395

 

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:

- Model only needed for your photo-shoots - please ensure your model is not only photogenic, but also very comfortable in front of the camera. Practise on your model before the shoot.
- A camera to record your work throughout your fashion styling course and it can be digital or disposable.
- A note pad and pen
- Sharp scissors
- Pritt stick or double sided sticky tape to attach fabrics and trims.
- Old magazines and clothing catalogues.
- 6 mounting boards
- Pins
- Metal paper clamps
- Safety pins
- A roll of masking tape
